It’s time for a new Bronze Age for acclaimed Swiss watchmakers Bell & Ross.
And that time is now as their pre-ordered BR 03-92 Diver Bronze limited editions get delivered this month of August 2018. They’re only making 999 of them.
These were homage to their brilliant BR 03-2 Diver line, primarily in blue and silver square frames at 42 mm in diameter, and all able to dive to 300 metres. They’re making boat loads of these ones.
The gorgeous bronze specimens are 42 mm in diameter with satin-polished CuSn8 bronze. Their square case, moreover, consists of a unidirectional rotating solid bronze bevel with a 60-minute scale. The dial is handsome with gold-plated appliqué indices with Super-Luminova inserts and gold plated skeletonized Super-Luminova filed gold hands.
The BR 03-92 Diver Blue and BR 03-92 Diver consists of similar fittings, but with blue and black dials, respectively, and steel bevels and inner workings. The Bronze offers straps in brown calfskin and black rubber; the Blue features blue rubber and an ultra-resilient black synthetic fabric; and the Diver has woven black rubber and ultra-resilient black synthetic fabric.
In sum, great times checking the time whether diving for Bronze Age treasures past or present.
