Christened with champagne and celebrity fanfare in Hong Kong in November, the World Dream is already making rounds as a true global caliber pleasure boat.
With cruises from Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Vietnam, the World Dream has begun delighting lovers of the Greater Pearl Bay and South China Sea—as its’ sister ship Genting Dream has been doing for a year now.
According to a World Dream statement, “Itineraries featuring new, authentic destination experiences will take guests on tropical and cultural journeys in Asia. Specially designed voyages taking in sun-drenched, popular destinations for the winter feature 6-day/5-night cruises to Manila and Boracay in the Philippines alternating with 6-day/5-night journeys to Ho Chi Minh and Nha Trang in Vietnam.”
Moreover, “World Dream will be offering Warm Weekend Vacations from Hong Kong for the ultimate stay-cation where passengers can bask outside in the temperate climate of the South China Sea and surround themselves with the warmth and service of the attentive staff inside.”
Over 70 per cent of the state rooms feature private balconies—with many rooms with connecting doors for families and groups to enjoy themselves. It has a Dream Palace “ship within a ship” offers with suites that have, “all-inclusive options and privileges.” Their Crystal Life Spa brand will operate a Western Spa and Asian Spa, with sophisticated dining and drinking venues throughout the ship. It is interlaced with entertainment venues, pools and Jacuzzis for additional touches of pleasure and splendour.
